Its really hard to write this review completly spolier free but i'll try my best to not give naything about the plot away.
The saying 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' certainly fits for this book, in fact this book is basically based around that saying. Its full of drama, angst and a truely twisted dark story that had me gripped till the very last page.
Just when you think you know where this story is going BAM it goes a different way and I loved that, it was like been on my very own book rollercoaster. You kind of want to read faster just so you can see whats actually happening. Another great read, I look forwars to tthe next twisted read by this author.

My breathing is shallow, ragged, as I silently watch her look up at me with those doe-like eyes. She’s magnificent, so innocent … so ripe for the taking.

I don’t know if she’s ready for me … but I can’t return to where we were before.

Her eyes are skidding across the room, and then they zoom in on me. Her lips part but no sound comes out … yet.

I place a finger on my lips and shush her softly, a devious smile lingering. I whisper seductively, “Don’t make a sound. We don’t want the neighbors to hear.”

I prowl closer, approaching the foot of her bed without taking my eyes off her. I feel like an animal, raging with hormones that beg me to fuck her. But I have to take it slowly, so I don’t scare her.

But as my knees touch her toes, she pulls them back, drawing the blanket back too. I can see her sucking in a breath when I lean over and place my hands on the bed.

She watches my every move as I hover over her legs, my mouth salivating from the mere anticipation of tasting her. Her bare feet are in front of me, and I bend over to kiss the top, my fingers softly sliding up her leg. Her skin erupts into goose bumps.

I bite my lip and kiss her ankle, gazing up at her to see if she’s still looking. I want her to see everything I do… everything she makes me do.

Just as I watched her, I want her to be a spectator now.

I was definatly interested after reading the blurb but for me when I got started on this book I found it to be quite confusing and didnt grab my attention enough. I also never connected to the main charcters as a couple nor did I believe in them which is why this is a lower rating book for me. I think maybe if the book was longer that their relationship could have been build more and maybe I would have connected to them more.
I will try more from this author but this wasn't the book for me.

“Remember boys and girls, this isn’t an auction for sex. You’re paying for a service only.” Pinky paused and then said a little softer. “But I’m not saying you can’t go wherever the night takes you, just had to get the fine print out of the way. Can’t have the cops up my ass…I’d much rather have them on their knees.” She winked and gave a little wave to the police chief sitting in the front row, and the crowd ate it up. Their ‘little’ club was full to the brim for Christmas Eve.

“Shall we get this party started?” Pinky raised the glass in her hand, and the rest of the room joined her.

I do love this authors writing style, its very unique and very addictive. 
This is Poppy and Coopers story who by chance meet again after 10 years and feel a strong connection. Poppy I just loved and really realted to her to. I felt every emotion she did and went on her emotional journey to. The chemistry between these two was smoking hot and I loved seeing the banter between them. I just got completly sucked into their story and enjoyed every minute.
I cant wait for the next book in this series.

This is a very very very short read and while it had my attention it also lacked alot in emotion and any connection to the charcters. I can really see potential here but it needs more depth to both the characters and story. It was so rushed and I felt like there was parts missing. The reason I gave it 3* rating was that the sex scenes were hot and if it wasn't for them I probably would have rated this even lower. I think with more charcter development, a longer story and more depth this could work into a really good book as the main structure is there ready.

I loved the idea of this book but unfortuntly I struggled with the characters and felt no connection. Dylan although he comes across as a sweet loner I found him to be lacking and actually quite boring. Maybe I'm just use to big strong alpha males but Dylan just didn't do it for me. Savannah just really made me angry and I wanted to jump through my kindle and yell at her to open her eyes. Although yes there was a bit drama in the story it just seemed to be brushed over really quickly, there wasn't enough emotion/drama or anything to really grab me and capture me.
This won't stop me reading other books by this author it just wasn't the right book for me although there is a lot of promise there.

She stretched up on tiptoes and placed a kiss on the corner of his mouth. He turned, a look of surprise on his face. "What was that for?"

She shrugged. "For being you."

This was a difficult book to rate for me. For me there was promise in the book but I found a lack of connection to the characters and although I didnt hate the story I didn't love it either and I found it really hard to like the main character Ava. I feel really bad about not loving it as I know this is a story really close to this authors heart but I have to be honest and it just wasn't for me.
