About the Author
unnamed-2.jpg
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey.
From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

Mister Bodyguard, an all-new emotional and sexy friends to lovers romance by Lauren Rowe is NOW LIVE!

A bodyguard, a beauty, and a bet. “I’m hiring you to do more than guard her, Zander,” my new boss explained. “You’re gonna be her rock. Her human Valium. Her trusted friend. And she’s gonna be your mission from God.” “So I’m her babysitter?” “Her babysitter, her bodyguard, her f*cking service doggie. Whatever she needs or wants, that’s what you’ll be. Anything except her booty call.” The vein in my new boss’s neck bulged. “Touch her and I’ll do more than fire your ass, Zander. I’ll rip off your balls.” My buddies laughed when I told them about my ridiculous new job. They said, “Three months on a tour with a world famous beauty, glued to her hip, catering to her every whim? A hundred bucks says you’re gonna break down and bang her within the first month.” But I said nope. No way. Never. “I’m a professional,” I said. “Plus, she’s not even my type. And I’m just getting over a broken heart. It’s never gonna happen.” So I put my money where my mouth was, figuring I’d laugh all the way to the bank. I never thought I’d actually fall in love with the girl.Or that she’d become my reason for breathing.
The job, the bet, the girl. It was nothing but fun and games . . . until it became dead serious. MISTER BODYGUARD is a standalone, friends to lovers contemporary romance in the MORGAN BROTHERS SERIES from USA Today Bestselling Author Lauren Rowe. The story of Zander Shaw—Keane Morgan's devoted best friend who is an honorary Morgan Brother—and the pop star who brings him to his knees.

Pucked Love, the final sexy and emotional standalone in the NYT bestselling Pucked Series from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting, is available NOW!

PUCKEDLOVE_full_trim (1).jpg
As an NHL player, relationships haven’t been my thing. Shrouded in secrecy and speculation, they never last very long. But then that’s what happens when you require an NDA before the first date.
Until Charlene. She’s like a firefly. She’s elusive, and if you catch her she’ll burn bright, but keeping her trapped dulls her fire and dims her beauty.
I caught her. And as much as I might want to keep her, I’ll never put the lid on her jar. Not at the risk of losing her. So I've let her set the rules in our relationship.
But as long hidden secrets expose us both, I discover exactly how fragile Charlene is, and how much I need her.
We’re all broken. We’re all messed up. Some more than others. Me more than most.

Review:
4.5* read.
This is book 7 in this series and the final standalone novel. I've loved every book in this series so I'm gutted that this is the last one. Like I say although this is part of a series it can be read as a standalone, although characters from past books pop up. We've also seen the 2 main characters in this book pop up in the other books aswell so it may be worth reading the others first to fully enjoy their story, which is what I did.
Now I have to admit I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this book as much as the others. Seeing Darren in the other books I didn't really feel a massive connection to him like I did with the other characters throught the other books. Also the way the books starts made me worry even more. There's nothing wrong with how the book starts I just felt that this really wasn't going to be the book for me, but once I got past the first couple of chapters that changed for me. Darren and Charlene aren't your typical couple but thats what makes this book so unique in this series. They've always kind of been in the background surrounded by this big mystery so I'm really glad we eventually got their story. I loved their rocky realtionship and how they both had baggage. They go through a real journey but they do it together. Their strong connection and chemistry is what makes this book but I also loved seeing past characters again.
This wasn't my favourite in this series but thats just a personal preference on who I connected to more (Sorry but Alex will always be my fav). I still loved it and it was a great ending to a great series. I'm looking forward to more of this authors work.

Excerpt:
You’re turning twenty-six. It’s your champagne birthday, so we need to do something fun.” Violet bounces, making her boobs shake and my mimosa slosh perilously. “It should be themed! We can all wear leather chaps!” “Could you be any more cliché?” I roll my eyes. “Just to be clear, Darren doesn’t own chaps.” “Just a ball gag and a mask with no eye holes, according to Alex.” And we’re back to my sex life. I knew I was getting off so easy. I wonder if Darren is catching this kind of heat today. I seriously doubt it’s worse than what I’m getting since I don’t think his friends are likely to push his buttons, but I’ll have to ask when I speak to him next. I’m not sure when that will be, either. The message I sent about Gertrude was pretty straightforward and doesn’t necessarily require a response. Maybe I should’ve worded it differently. Sunny raises her hand, like we’re all still in middle school and she’s waiting her turn to speak. “Wouldn’t a mask with no eyeholes be dangerous? You wouldn’t be able to see where you’re going.” Her eyes widen, and she looks around the room. “And what’s a ball gag?” I honestly love that Sunny has grown up in this highly overinformed society and still manages to be innocent. “Yeah, Char, wouldn’t a mask with no eyeholes be dangerous?” Violet props her fist on her chin and smiles. “And please, do explain what a ball gag is.” “I’m not sure you really want the answer to that, Sunny.” Poppy gives me a look I can’t quite decipher. Sunny twirls her hair around her finger. “Why not?” “Where’s the harm in a little bondage-sex education? It’s not like Miller’s ever going to go out and buy either item for her. First of all, Alex would murder him, and secondly, I don’t think that’s Miller’s thing.” Sunny’s face lights up, and she does jazz hands. “Oh! I think I know what Miller’s thing is!” Lily grins. “Eating your cookie?” “He really likes to do that, a lot. When my belly gets too big I’ll have to watch from the mirror.” She gets a faraway look in her eyes. “But he has another thing! Kind of like how you and Randy are always getting it on in bathrooms, except I think it’s a bit more sanitary.” “And it doesn’t cause thousands of dollars of damage,” Violet adds. Lily throws her hands up in the air. “That sink was already falling off the wall. It’s not my fault it broke!” “That was one expensive orgasm,” I say. “And Randy says it was worth every penny.” Lily’s smile is devious as she bites her knuckle, then turns to Sunny. “Anyway, back to Miller’s thing.” Sunny wiggles around excitedly in her chair. “So Miller paints my toenails for me.” “Miller’s thing is painting your toenails?” “Yes. Well, no. I think he likes my toes.” Her fingers go to her lips, and she looks around the room, her cheeks flushing. “Say what now?” Violet asks. ”Sometimes he kisses them.” She covers her mouth with her palm and says something unintelligible. Violet sits forward in her chair. “Hold on a second, does Buck have a foot fetish?” “Um, I don’t know.” Sunny looks worried now. “Is that weird? Is it, like, mask with no eyeholes kind of weird?”

REVIEW:
4.5* read.
(Due to a mix up on my emails this is a little later then its meant to be, apologies for that but definatly go buy this book asap.)
Now this book can be read as a standalone although it does have connections to this authors Civil Corruption series and you see characters from there in here.
I only recently came across this authors Civil Corruption series when I was looking for a new book whilst in one of my book slumps. After reading the first book in the series I then went on to buy all the others staright away, and binge read that weekend. It was an addictive read which I'm so glad I came across. So when I found out that Camden Knight, Tate’s BFF, was getting his own book I was so excited. Camden needs a complete image overhaul after a one night stand that goes horribly wrong and is splashed all over the papers and internet tarnishing his image. In gets shoved Suton who really doesn't want anything to do with a rock star. Suton has been through hell and I got really emotional reading what she's been through. But to see her overcome things and go on her journey with her made this a great read. The chemistry between her and Camden was electric and their banter had me laughing out loud. I did also feel sorry for Camden as he didn't deserve what happened to him but again I enjoyed reading his story and see him developing as a character.
The one negative I will say about this book (and why it lost half a star rating) is that Suton's pov was wrote in first person, Camden's was in third person and as I was reading I did find myself sometimes getting lost and thinking wait what was that. I loved the storyline and the characters and everything else, I just wish it hadnt kept switching between first and third person as that kind of spoiled it a bit for me. If one type of narrative had been stuck to through the book then it would have been more then a 5 star read for me.
I'm looking forward to the next book.

It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That's why God created central air, after all.
Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy--she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.
In addition to being a wife and mom, she's also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books--romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it's a passion...there's a difference. Not that she'd expect a boy to understand.
Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

Tequila + you best friend + your bedroom =  um, whoopsie?

Tequila Tequila, an all-new hilarious standalone romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart is LIVE!!

TT-FULL.jpg
Don’t sleep with your best friend.
Take it from me. I did it. And it was awful.
I-wish-the-tequila-made-me-forget kind of bad.
The problem is, Luke has forgotten. He swears that he can’t remember a thing about that night beyond the trays of tequila shots being set on the tables.
Except I can’t forget. I can’t forget how good his hands felt until I fell over and hit my hip on the dresser, and I sure as hell can’t forget the entire two minutes of tap-tap-squirt.
Awkward. Embarrassing. And the new subject of a couple of dirty lucid dreams.
But I have no intention of telling him what we did. Nothing good comes from telling your best friend he’s the worst guy you’ve ever slept with.
Which makes the tequila on my birthday a very, very bad idea…

Excerpt:

Podcast Series: The Day the Jerk Started Falling with Oliver Arsen   Dating is easy, mates. The women are plentiful, the opportunities abundant, and the fun endless.   I’ve taken a woman night surfing—only to end up using the board and the motion of the water for another purpose—jetted over to New Zealand for a two-day holiday with another, and given more than one a fair tour of my bedroom.   No effort overspent, I enjoyed every moment of it.   I live hard and love harder, but it’s the second one that usually gets me in the most trouble. My affection tends to be short-lived—a quality I’ve been assured multiple times by the fairer sex isn’t becoming.   Basically, according to the greater population, I’m the ultimate jerk.   And if you grouped the lot of my past conquests together and set me ablaze, not one of them would piss on me to save my life.   Taking the next step, having a long-term relationship, has never been my forte.   Commitment is hard. The thought of a one-woman wank for the rest of my life has barely ever been conceivable, let alone possible, and I have to blame that for how badly it all went.   When I look back at my behavior, there has to be a reason.   A reason, friends, that when it came to Luciana Wright, I fucked it all up.   I’ve been cursed out, stomped on, slapped. Had my balls volleyed, spat on, and punched. And even, on one occasion, nearly run over by a car with a madwoman behind the wheel.   But I’ve never been through the brutal torture of love.   Until Lucky.   She’s an American bombshell and my sister’s best friend—a woman so wrong for me, it should be written in the waves. And she’s the reason we’re all here.   The exact reason why I strong-armed the lovely, albeit slightly hard-ass, editor of this fantastic website to let an Aussie bloke like me prattle on about his love woes. [chuckles]   Vanessa, if you’re listening, I’m certain your balls are bigger than just about every man out there. And trust me, that is a compliment. [chuckles again]   Also, thank you for your hospitality via podcast permission. It is much appreciated.   And you, dear listeners, you should know that for the next God only knows how many episodes of this podcast series, I’m going to spend my time talking directly to Lucky. If you’re not her, but you’d like to keep listening, I urge you to help me. Help me by hearing me out. Help me by relating to my story. Help me plead my case. And to really prepare yourself to get the whole tale from both sides, listen to her podcast first. [distinct pause]   I had you in my grasp, Lucky, but now it’s fallen apart.   And in order to explain how it happened—to explain myself—I feel like I have to go back to the day it all began.   To the day the jerk started falling.

Review
5* read.
I have loved this author from her debut book and after getting a glimpse of this book at the end of her other book this was one story I was really really excited for.
Evan and Sebastian come from two completly different worlds yet when they first meet there's this instant connection. I'm not going to say to much about their actual story as everything you need to know is in the blurb, but I will say that these are two characters who from the first few chapters I instanly connected with and got invested in their story. You will go on a complete emotional rollercoaster with them, so many ups and downs and drama and angst mixed in with their smoking hot connection. It was just sooo good and I really wish I could read it all over again for the first time. Two of my favourite characters this year but I also loved the supported characters and I really hope they get their story at some point.
I didn't want their story to end. It's one of those books where you can't put it down but yet you don't want to get to the end. If your looking for a book to read then this is it, you must buy it but don't blame me when you can't put it down.
