As it says in the blurb this is the second book in this inter-connected series, but can be read as a standalone. It does say to read in order to get a better reader experience, but I have to admit I didn't do this. This was only because I didn't actually have time to read the first book before getting a review in for this one. I will now defiantly be going back to read the first one and can't wait to get stuck into it.

A new author to me I wasn't sure what to expect with this book but the blurb grabbed my attention so I knew I had to give it a go. Also that cover is hot so who wouldn't want to grab some of that.

College/university romances are one of my favourite genres to read, and this book certainly didn't disappoint. Knox and Willow are complete opposites but also so similar in ways. The chemistry is electric between the two of them and I just loved reading their journey of a story. 

This is a book full of secrets and raw emotion, so much pain. An angsty emotional read, I can't wait to read more from this author.

4.5* read.

I have to admit I've read all of this authors mc books, but never actually read any of her standalones that aren't based in the mc world. I'm not sure why, I've just never got round to it. That been said I will be going back and reading them, especially Ashton's book (who we see glimpses of in this book).

This is Jack and Jessica's story and boy is it journey of a book. The raw emotion you will feel when reading this book will last with you way after you've finished it. You can't help but love Jack which after reading the blurb I thought I'd take longer to find that connection to his character. Actually I connected straight away to him and demons that he's carrying around. He's someone who's made mistakes and is still working to try and fix them, not more so then with Jessica. I loved Jessica. A strong minded woman she was the perfect sassy strong woman for Jack. You could feel the chemistry throughout the book and were hoping they could both move on, together.

This is quite a slower pace read to what I'm use to, but that was because of all the issues they both had to overcome and work though. A real emotional rollercoaster of a journey.

After reading the first three books in this series I can't tell you how excited I was for another book set in the Windsor Academy world. As has been mentioned in the blurb you can read this as a standalone, but personally I'd highly recommend reading the other three first to really get the most from this book and understand the characters more, especially Bentley. 

Bentley's story is both tragic and beautiful. You see glimpses of his dark past and really see inside his f***ed up mind. You just want to grab him and give him a hug. The title of this book having broken in it couldn't be more fitting for this story. Sweet broken Bentley will drag you on his emotional rollercoaster of a journey. I haven't mentioned Sydney much in this review as I wanted to focus more on Bentley, but that been said she was the perfect addition to his story. She doesn't but up with any sh** from him and the chemistry was just pure fire.

A completely raw book that will stay with you a long time after finishing it, this was the perfect fitting for Bentley and I'm so glad he got his story.

Meet Scarlett Cole

This is book 3 in the Crooked Sinners series but can be read as a standalone, although if you do read it as a standalone I can guarantee you'll want to go back and read the other two books. 

This is defiantly my favourite series by this author, and Pax's story is now my favourite book by this author. I'm gutted this series is over but this was defiantly save the best till last. 

From the first few chapters I knew I was going to be in for a rollercoaster of a ride with Pax and Pres. The depth that this author wrote these characters to was unlike the first two books. In the first two there was more of an outer story to go with the book (etc it wasn't just based on the two main characters). In this one it was just purely Pax and Pres's story and I loved it. You got to see in the minds of these broken yet held together characters (if that makes sense) and go on this pure emotional journey with them and boy did I feel every emotion. 

I devoured every last page. You feel every bit of raw pain that they do. This story packs no punches so be prepared to go on their angsty story with them and feel every emotion they do. 

**All three Riot House boys now have their own stories. The Crooked Sinners novels are interconnected standalone stories and do not need to be read in order.
