First off I love this author and her MC Sinners series is one of my favourite MC series out and so when I found out she was also doing a spin off from this I was really excited and couldn't wait. This book can be read as a standalone but one you've read this you'll want to read the MC Sinners books as well.
This is Lucas and Ava's story. Lucas is a cop and Ava is the daughter of Jackson, president of the Hell’s Knights Motorcycle Club. When Lucas stumbles across Ava after something horrific they both form bond that neither ever expected. Both facing their own demons they find comfort and safety from the other. Lucas been a cop and Ava having the dad she does makes their problems much worse, especially as Lucas has had run ins with the club in the past. I just loved their connection and journey they take as a couple and as people. Through the dark times Lucas and Ava brought a joyness and hotness to this story that as a reader I was addicted to. I could not put this book down once I'd started and now I'm awaiting this author's next brilliant book.
