REVIEW
4* read. Please note this is a follow on book and Lost must be read first before reading this one. When the first book ended i was gutted. Cliffhangers are kind of a hate hate for me but i don't mind as much when the next book is released quickly after which this one was. I really don't want to spoil this story for anyone so I'm going to keep it short. In this book i struggled more with Tucker and his attitude and wanted to scream at him at some points, and how he does push Charlotte away because if stuff hes been through.  Although i understand that i still felt like screaming at him. I did love both books and enjoyed their rollercoaster of a journey and will defiantly buy more from this author.

REVIEW
4* read. New author to me and i was really surprised by the story and the twists it did also have. This isn't my usual read tbh i tend to stay away from the bdsm genre because i sometimes just find it to much, but i actually really enjoyed this story and Indigo and Everett had so much chemistry that i enjoyed reading their story. The bdsm side fitted in well without been to much and i hope there's going to be another book on them as i feel their still more of their story to be told.

Lovegame by Tracy Wolff

Title: Lovegame
Author: Tracy Wolff
Publisher: Loveswept
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: June 7, 2016

Blurb

Hailed by J. Kenner as an author who “knows how to steam up the pages,” Tracy Wolff delivers a darkly addictive novel of seduction and psychological obsession. The stakes are high in Lovegame, when a movie star with a shattered past meets a man who can either break her or make her whole.

True Crime novelist Ian Sharpe has spent his career writing about serial killers for very personal reasons. For his latest exposé, he is taking on the sadistic madman known as the Red Ribbon Strangler, and when his research leads him to Hollywood’s most private and provocative actress, he will break every rule to uncover her truth.

The daughter of one of Hollywood’s golden couples, chased by paparazzi and treated as a commodity her entire life, Veronica Romero wields her sex appeal like a weapon. She expects Ian to be as easy to control as every other man she’s ever known. But from the beginning, he refuses to fall into line. Mysterious and cool, challenging and just a little bit dangerous, Ian somehow makes her feel safe—even as he digs into the deepest secrets of her life and pushes her to the breaking point.

As raw ecstasy gives way to agonized truths, their dark obsession exposes secrets that have been buried for far too long. Ian wants to tear down her walls and heal the sensual woman underneath. But if Veronica’s learned anything, it’s that the line between pleasure and pain is a narrow one—and when caught between them the only thing that matters is how you play the game.

Lovegame is intended for mature audiences.

REVIEW
2.5* read. I do love this authors work but this one wasn't one of my favourites, although i think it could be someone else's favourite it just wasn't quite there for me. Ian and Veronica i really struggled to form a connection with and so i never really got into the story or their journey. I don't want to say to much about it as i feel you need to form your own opinion on their story, it wasn't for me but I've seen other reviews where people have loved it so i don't want to put people off. One thing i did love was the cover, very eye catching and sexy.

Title: Sordid
Author: Nikki Sloane
Genre: Dark Erotic Romance
 Release Date: May 29, 2016

Blurb

It took me years to find the courage to speak to Luka. He seemed exactly like me. Intelligent. Focused. Serious.

But he’s not the man I imagined.

His reality is cruel and dark. He traps me in his web, his power twisting tighter the more I struggle, until it’s hopeless. I can’t break free.

As he drags me unwillingly into his filthy world, I can’t ignore the terrifying idea circling my mind. What if I belong here with him?

REVIEW
4.5* read. Before I give my thoughts on this book I will start by saying this book won't be for everyone. It is extremely dark and has situations in it that some people won't want to read. For me personally it's very rare I will pick up a dark read, in fact the only time I will is if it's by a author who I already love. It takes a lot for a author to open up my dark side but Nikki did that. Addison and Luka were both strong characters in their own way. Luca was someone who i couldnt help love even though i hated him too and Addison was both sweet yet strong in the situations she faced. It was a read normally not in my comfort zone yet found its own way into my twisted side. A delightfully dark read that called out to my darker side,  love this author.

Title: Lost
Series: Captive Heart Duet #1
Author: Carrie Aarons
Genre: Contemporary Romance
 Release Date: May 26, 2016

Blurb

We knew each other a lifetime ago. And then...

We lost childhoods. We lost opportunities. We lost love.

Fate is giving us another chance. But a chance at what?

Because even though we’ve been brought back to each other under the worst of circumstances…

We are still. So. Damn. Lost.

REVIEW
3.75* read. Bit of a up and down one for me. First off please note this is the first book and does end on a cliffhanger and a pretty big cliffhanger at that. Also after reading this book i don't think the front cover matches with Tucker at all and so was quite misleading for someone like me who does go off covers. If you read the story you'll see what i mean, the story is darker compared to this light clean and pristine cover. Its hard to write this review without giving to much away but i will say Char and Tucker's story was a lot different then what i was expecting but i did enjoy it and i look forward to the next part after that massive cliffhanger.

From the USA Today bestselling author of the Bliss series comes a new spin off series featuring your favorite Bliss series characters who are yet to meet their match. This time it is Zach and Danika's turn. I’m a gamer by nature and by profession. I’m all about strategy, performance, and coming out on top. Five months ago I threw caution to the wind, and in the first miscalculated step of my twenty-one-year life, I made a move on my brother’s best friend. The first mistake we made was keeping our relationship secret. The next was going off half-cocked when a train wreck of epic proportions hit us. Now our secret is secret no more. As I struggle to deal with all of the swirling emotions, conflicted feelings, and the multitude of burned bridges that I need to mend, the one person who can help me through it all is the same man I need space from. To fix it I’ll have to pull on my big-girl panties, focus on what I truly want in life, and put everything I have into winning the most important game I’ll ever play. Life is a game, and it is what you make it. Coming out unscathed is a whole other matter.

3.5* read. Maybe i expected to much from this book but it didn't match what i hoped it would be even though i have seen loads of 5* reviews out there. I loved the blurb and the cover and so was immediately interested as well as the fact i love this authors work but for me i just didn't fall in love with this story right from the start. I think others readers will completely fall in love with this book which is why i don't want to say to much as for me personally i just need a bit more to give this a higher mark. The writing style as usual was spot on, and Danika and Zach were really sweet together and i did like the whole forbidden side of Zach been Danika's brother best friend it just personally wasn't the book for me.

Prologue
Danika
“Yes,” I moan, grinding down against him.
“Fucking beautiful,” he says gruffly against my skin, his lips brushing my neck. His breath comes hard and fast in time with the upward thrusts of his cock, and I feel my orgasm barreling toward me.
“Feels so good,” I pant. His hand tightens around my back and his fingers zero in on my wonder button, stroking with expert precision and making my pussy clench around him. My body contorting as if it’s possessed.
“Jesus. Fuck,” Zach growls, planting his feet on the bed and thrusting up one last time before following me over the edge as he pours himself inside of me.
We collapse backwards, my legs falling limp on the way down, and together we lie there, chests heaving, bodies stuck together, struggling to catch our breaths.
“Every time is better than the last,” he murmurs in my ear, sucking my earlobe into his mouth afterwards. I whimper and my muscles spasm as aftershocks course through me. Shifting sideways, I stay draped over him, my fingers drawing mindless circles in the smattering of hair on his damp chest.
“What’s on the agenda today?” he asks, his hand running through my hair, roots to ends.
“Team meeting at eleven, lunchtime conference call with the west coast programmers at one, then I get to go play.”
“Such a geek.” He chuckles. I jerk my head up and I narrow my eyes at him. He just smirks, and my twitching lips give away how uncommitted I am to the death stare aimed his way.
“Your geek.”
“You better fucking believe it,” he replies with conviction, his arm hooked around my waist, giving a meaningful squeeze.
“I know it, firebug.”
Now he out-and-out grins. “Never going to live it down, am I?”
I push up with one hand on the bed so that my head hovers over his, our lips just an inch apart. “Never,” I whisper. “But that’s okay. I still love you.”
His entire body goes still and my eyes go wide as realization hits me. Way to go, Dani. Freak him out why don’t you.
My brain catches up with my body and flight mode kicks in. I move quickly, rolling backwards and scrambling off the bed. Making a smash-and-grab attempt, I scoop up my clothes scattered over his bedroom floor, but the first step toward escape is hampered by an arm wrapping around my waist.
I fall back and slam into his naked chest, my entire body going still at the contact.
“Wait a minute, Dani. You can’t say something like that then fly out of here like a bat out of hell.”
“Bats like hell. They live there.”
“They live in caves. Stop trying to change the subject.”
Deciding that redirecting this inevitable conversation is the best plan of attack, I continue. “I really have to go, Zach. I’ve still gotta go home, shower, get dressed, and then get to work.”
“It’s only six, and you just told me your first meeting isn’t till eleven.”
“I’ve got a lot of stuff to do before then.”
“I’ll drive you home and to the office if it means you’ll turn around. I wanna look in your eyes when I tell you I love you back.”
For the second time in as many minutes, my heart stutters to a halt. There’s no way in hell I’m in flight mode now.
Seven years ago, I fell in teenage girl love with Zach Cooper, my older brother’s roommate and best friend.
Five months ago, I fell into adult insta-lust with him the night I told him what I wanted. I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t imagined what it would be like to hear him say those three little words.
What I didn’t know was that just a few days after one of the best moments in my life—one of those ones you know you’ll remember forever—everything would be turned upside down.
And there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it.
