About BROKEN BY LIES: I had no idea how much I would love Alex the day he walked into my life. He changed everything. The way I breathed. The way I thought. The way I loved. He brought me back to life. He gave me strength and a safe place to land.

And then he broke me.

Finding Emilia was a chance to do something good for once in my life. I wanted to change. She believed I was her savior. I ached to be. She found her way into my heart and claimed it as her safe place. I should be telling her the truth about me…instead I break her with lies.

About BOUND BY LIES: Torn between two men; one was what I needed, the other was what I wanted. One man was safe and the other was dangerous. But both men would lay down their lives to save me.

ATF agent Sam Cortez is fighting to bring down the Estrada family empire, which was built on murder and corruption. Alex Estrada did what was needed to keep me safe…and paid with his life.

Starting over as I try to rebuild my life, it’s clear that the past is never what it seems.

What no one knew was that we were all bound by lies.

    REVIEW
Broken by lies: 3.5* read. This is the first book in this series and does end on a big cliffhanger. Its also my first book by this author and I did enjoy the rollercoaster ride of this story. The one thing I struggled with in this book was that for this genre the main character just wasn't dark enough for me for a Mafia read. I also struggled at first to feel the connection to Alex and Emilia but as the story went on I did get more of a connection and by the end of this book I was really rooting for them. A lot of twists and turns throughout and a big cliffhanger ending which I didn't mind as I knew the second book was already released.

Bound by lies: 3.5* read. This was a lot more of an emotional read then the first book. Again i felt for the genre it wasn't dark or gritty enough for me but thats just my own personal preference and what I'm used to reading in the Mafia genre. There is a lot in this book and straight from page one your off on the emotional ride with the characters. All the questions you were left with from book one are answered, even if you don't like the answers and want to scream at your kindle like me. It did keep me turning the pages wanting to know what was going to happen next but it did kind of feel like there was a bit more needed, kind of anti-climatic but I still really enjoyed it I just needed a bit more to give a higher rating.

I am so glad I got a chance to read this book. First book by author even though I have Dare Me on my kindle. I need to read Book 2 now. That cliffhanger was something
