Mad Love is the first book in the Guns & Ink series by Shana Vanterpool and my first read by this author. It does cover some dark topics so please be warned it could have a trigger for some people. I will keep my review shortish so as not to give the plot away.
I was actually surprised by how much I loved this book. It was raw and gritty and I fell in love with the characters. Its a very emotional read as you go on their journey, especially Madison's. Klayton was such a strong character who at first comes off as quite standoffish, but when you see him with Madison and how he helps her you completly fall in love with him.
This certainly isn't a fluffy romance read, its dark, raw and gritty and it had me addicted till the very last page.

Romance author, coffee drinker, and bad boy aficionado. Every second not spent breathing is an opportunity to write and read. I live in Northern California with my family and actress dog, Halle Bella. (Just Bella when she decides to cut the crap.) Escaping with a good book is something I live for and I write so others can do the same.
