About the Author: USA Today Bestselling Author, NANA MALONE’s love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen. She’s been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters. Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana, meantime works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is. The books in her series have been on multiple Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble best seller lists as well as the iTunes Breakout Books list and most notably the USA Today Bestseller list. Until that ninja job comes through, you’ll find Nana working hard on additional books for her series as well as other fun, sassy romances for characters that won’t leave her alone. And if she’s not working or hiding in the closet reading, she’s acting out scenes for her husband, daughter and puppy in sunny San Diego. Want to hit me up? Title: Birthday Girl
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Author: Penelope Douglas
Release Date: April 17, 2018

Synopsis:
JORDAN
He took me in when I had nowhere else to go.
He doesn’t use me, hurt me, or forget about me. He doesn’t treat me like I’m nothing, take me for granted, or make me feel unsafe.
He remembers me, laughs with me, and looks at me. He listens to me, protects me, and sees me. I can feel his eyes on me over the breakfast table, and my heart pumps so hard when I hear him pull in the driveway after work.
I have to stop this. It can’t happen.
My sister once told me there are no good men, and if you find one, he’s probably unavailable.
Only Pike Lawson isn’t the unavailable one.
I am.

PIKE
I took her in, because I thought I was helping.
She’d cook a few meals and clean up a little. It was an easy arrangement.
As the days go by, though, it’s becoming anything but easy. I have to stop my mind from drifting to her and stop holding my breath every time I bump into her in the house. I can’t touch her, and I shouldn’t want to.
The more I find my path crossing hers, though, the more she’s becoming a part of me.
But we’re not free to give into this. She’s nineteen, and I’m thirty-eight.
And her boyfriend’s father.
Unfortunately, they both just moved into my house.

*BIRTHDAY GIRL is a stand-alone, contemporary romance suitable for ages 18+.

Excerpt:
Jordan is working at a bar, and Pike comes in to meet friends.
PIKE
“What the hell is she wearing?” I grumble, sliding into the booth.
Dutch turns his head toward me, his drink inches from his lips. “It’s the lingerie show,” he tells me. “They have it every Thursday night. The bartenders and servers don nighties or corsets and serve drinks and food. It’s fun.”
No, not really.
But I look around and see a few other ladies carrying out appetizers and bringing drinks, some of them in very thin attire. At least Jordan’s corset looks as thin as armor.
“But Jordan’s never done it before,” he goes on. “That’s what shocked me. Thought you should know.”
“Why the fuck would I want to know?” I pull a beer out of the ice bucket on the table.
“Yeah, sorry.” He turns away, mumbling into his glass, “You seem like you couldn’t care less.”
I shoot him a sideways look, hearing the laughter in his words.
Sticking the beer back in the bucket, untouched, I rise and head to the bar. I hear a snort behind me, but I don’t care. She’s kind of my responsibility, and I don’t want her doing things like this, because she thinks she needs money.
There’s only one bartender besides Jordan. The owner, Shel. I’m sure she hasn’t forgotten me, so I veer to the opposite end and catch Jordan’s attention as she pops the tops from a line of six bottles of beer.
“What the hell are you wearing?” I lean in, speaking as quietly as I can.
She jerks her head toward me, meets my eyes, and quickly turns away again like I’m the last person she wants to deal with right now.
She hands over the beers, collects the cash and spins around, punching the screen in front of her. “It’s fine,” she assures me. “It’s just a corset, Pike.”
“They are all looking at you.”
She nods, smiling sarcastically. “That’s the point.”
“Jordan,” I sigh, trying to whisper as I squeeze around some old dude at the bar. “This is a small town. What if your father were to walk in?”
“He doesn’t come in here,” she says, closing the register drawer and finally looking at me. “And neither do you, normally.” A blush crosses her cheeks. “Besides, I’m not stupid. I wouldn’t take part in something I thought would humiliate me.”
She turns and hands the change back to the customer, but he waves her off, letting her keep it. She smiles and turns back around, dropping the bills into an already overflowing canister.
“What are you even doing here?” she says, starting to mix another drink. “I thought you were sitting the bachelor party out, because…” She sets the bottle down and does air quotes as she imitates my growling voice, “‘there needed to be at least one sober person at work tomorrow’.”
I arch a brow at her. I don’t sound like that.
Reaching into my pocket, I pull out the flyer and push it over the bar at her.
She stills, and her face goes ashen. “Where did you find that?”
She grabs it and dumps it somewhere under her. To a trash can probably.
Taking a napkin, she sets it in front of a customer and gives him the fresh drink she just made.
“If you need money,” I tell her, “I’ll lend you whatever you need, okay?”
And she stops, slowly turning her eyes on me. Her gaze sharpens, angry, and she looks like she wants to yell at me, but she doesn’t. Instead she whips around and barrels down the bar and through the partition, turning only enough to crook a finger at me before she twirls back around and heads down the hallway.
My stomach sinks. I really don’t mean to piss her off as much as I do. What did I say now?
Veering through the crowd, I make my way down the empty hallway, finally coming to the same room she was crying in when I pissed her off the last time.
Entering through the open door, I see her standing with her hands on her hips and her head cocked at me.
“I would rather eat from a dumpster than take money from you,” she bites out.
I should shut up. But God help me, I can’t. “Hate to break it to you, but you already do,” I tell her. “You live in a house where you pay no rent or utilities, young lady.”
“I cook and clean for you!” she shouts, but I doubt anyone can hear us back here and through the music. “I pay my way, you arrogant prick!”
“Alright, alright,” I growl, blinking long and hard. “You’re right, okay? But, Jordan, men will get ideas. They’ll think they have a free pass and they can touch what belongs to my son. You’re embarrassing him.”
“Your son?” she mocks, laughing. “Well, you just missed him, actually. He already saw me, and he doesn’t care, Pike. He thought I looked good, and then he left with his friends. He doesn’t care!”
“Well, I care!”
The words are out of my mouth before I can stop them, and I freeze, almost too afraid to breathe.
Oh, shit. What did I just say?

Stronger Than This, An all new standalone MC Romance by Abby McCarthy is releasing April 30th!

Marie: I married a monster -- a member of a motorcycle club. I was okay with him blurring the lines until the lines he crossed turned against me. He wasn’t always a monster, or he hid it well. I wouldn’t have married him if I’d known. By the time his true colors showed, I was pregnant with no way out. Until one day, years of planning paid off, and I was able to run away with my daughter. I found my footing in the foothills of Pennsylvania, thinking I would be far from any MC. I was wrong.
Mickey: As a member of The Devil’s Crusaders, not much escapes me in Wakeman. Especially not the tiny, fiery redhead who strolled into town, so obviously hiding from something. She made my blood boil in the best way possible. I’d avoided taking an old lady, instead, choosing to spend my years raising my daughter. Not anymore. Not since Marie. I was ready, and she was it for me. I just had to find out what she was hiding from before it finally catches up to her.

Mickey watched me. “So, he’s a biker.”
I was shocked that Mickey picked up on this, I was also a little nervous. What if he knew him? I mean, it’s a great big world and all, and we were far from home, but what if?
“How do you know?” my voice shook.
“Ye ride on the back of a bike like ye always been there. Ye grabbed de foot peg without any hesitation, and ye know what the road can do to those pretty red locks of yers.”
“Stop.” I put my hand up feeling way too exposed in front of Mickey.
Mickey didn’t stop, “He’s a ballless feck. Dinks he’s a man ‘cause he’s got two wheels between his legs and puts his hands on ye proves he’s got no balls. Been doing it for a while too based on the scared look ye carry around wit ye. Any man who thinks he can lay a hand on a woman, especially one as pretty as ye, ballless.” Mickey sneered shaking his head in disgust. I felt confused, and I didn’t like it.
I swallowed the lump in my throat, “Can we go?”
“What’s his name?” he asked ignoring my plea to leave. I shook my head.
“No, not doing this, Mickey.” I turned away from his bike and began to walk away. He wanted to question me? Whatever, I didn't need to answer him. I didn’t owe him anything. I didn’t even know him.
“Marie, stop.” Mickey’s hand touched my elbow, and I flinched on instinct. He put his hands up like I was a scared animal fleeing for safety. It made me mad. How did I let Drake turn me into someone who was afraid of her own shadow?
“I don’t know you, Mickey.”
“Get to know me.”
“Find another cause to take up.”
“Yer not a cause. Yer a woman, a damn feisty one at that.” He said woman like it was important. Like it meant something to him. “Get on. No more talk for today,” Mickey gentled his voice, and for some reason, I listened.

Co-Ed by Rachel Van Dyken Publication Date: April 24th, 2018 Genre: Contemporary Romance
rvd-coed_1
Four guys.
Constant moaning.
And a revolving door across the college suite I somehow ended up in because my first name is Shawn.
They don't discriminate. Girls. Guys. Grandmas. Plants (okay maybe not plants) all walks of life stroll in stressed to the brim, and leave so satisfied I'm wondering what sort of talents lie behind that door.
My roommate calls them the pleasure ponies.
But the rest of the college campus?
They just call them the new face of Wingmen Inc. A paid for relationship service that makes big promises.
Breakup? They'll glue you back together again.
Depressed? They have the magic pill.
Lonely? Just spend a few minutes while they rub you down and you'll forget all about it.
And broken hearts? Well, that's their specialty. They'll fix you
For a price…
I swore I wouldn't get involved.
But apparently they like a challenge, and a girl who doesn't put up with their BS is basically like waving a red flag in front of a bull.
They. All. Charged.
But one holds my attention above the rest.
Knox Turner looks like a Viking — and getting pillaged is starting to look more appealing by the day. Though he's hiding something — all of them are. And the closer I get. The more I realize that some things are left better in the past.
You've read reverse harem books before — but you've never read one like this. It's not what you think, or is it? Dive in and find out…
Knox, Leo, Finn, and Slater are waiting, and they aren't patient men.
Welcome to the new face of Wingmen Inc — You're welcome.

Review:
 5 massive star read.
I don't even know where to start with this author and this book. Rachel writes pure gold everytime. I keep thinking that the next book I read by her can't be as good as the one I've just read, but then you pick up her next book and you just get completly immersed in the story and characters and you realize that this author can do no wrong. Her writing style is both unique and addictive. I finish one of her books and I'm literally on the edge of my seat wondering when the next one is coming and how long do I have to wait as I need more of her writing now.
When I first saw the little teaser in the end of her last book Consequences of rejection I was desperate for this book. That little teaser had me hooked to the book before even reading it and that is the sign of a great author in my eyes.
The characters are so connectable and easy to fall in love with. I loved Knox, the silent brooding type. He makes you want to know more about him as he's more reserved then the other's. As for Shawn well she was the perfect match for him. The dynamic of her relationship with not only Knox but Leo, Finn and Slater made for a great read. Especially the banter between her and Leo and Finn.
What I also loved about this book was again how Rachel writes great supporting characters. She makes you need to know their story too. It's not often I fall in love with the supporting characters just as much as the main ones but Leo, Finn, and Slater are hard characters to not love. This may have been Knox and Shawn's story but it was all the characters that made this book the great read it is and I actually didn't want the book to end.
Must read for any romance reader, make sure to get your copy today, you won't be disappointed. I can't wait for the next book, I hope its soon as I'm very impatient where this author's books are concerned.

Excerpt:
It was happening again. The moaning. I put a pillow over my face and screamed. Not because it was too loud. But because I kept wondering who was causing it. One? Two? All three? Leo and Finn had both tried to talk to me in class and at the coffee shop again. I’d brushed them off but been polite. And Knox? Well, let’s just say that Knox had suddenly turned over a leaf that said, “Go out of my way to make Shawn’s life miserable.” He was suddenly everywhere. And with a different female every single day. It drove me insane. Bat-shit crazy. And he wasn’t even mine to go senseless over! The moan happened again. “That’s it!” I got up from my bed, stomped over to the door, and jerked it open. Then I pounded my way over to their room and almost took down the door with my knock . When Leo answered, he grinned down at me. “Come to play?” I gave him the finger. His eyes narrowed. “I’m confused. Is that yes or no?” “Agh!” I threw my hands up in the air. “I have practice tomorrow at five a.m. It’s three. I’ve had one hour of sleep. Can you please keep the moaning to a minimum?” “You seem stressed.” He tilted his head just as Finn joined him in the doorway. “Doesn’t she?” “Very.” Finn nodded then reached out and started massaging my right trap while Leo grabbed my hand and worked my fingers. It felt so damn good that I forgot I was pissed for about two seconds before I pulled away. “No.” I jabbed my finger at each of their chests. “Shame on you. Stop using your skills to make me less crazy. I need sleep.” “I could not agree more.” Leo put his hand over his chest. “If you want, I can come over and—” “No!” I made a fist with my hands. “I don’t need you to help me sleep. I need you to keep your clients quiet so that I can sleep. Big difference.” Knox appeared then and held out a pair of Bose noise-canceling headphones. “You can borrow them every Friday as long as you don’t set them on fire when you’re done.” “Do you think I really want whatever STDs are crawling around the surface?” I hissed. His eyes turned lethal. “Then I guess you won’t sleep.” “Dun, dun, dun,” Finn sang in a low voice, just as a small lady who could pass as my grandmother made an appearance and shoved a fifty-dollar bill in Knox’s pants then patted him on his rock-hard six-pack. She had a full-on red wig perched backward on her head and cherry red cheeks with black glasses that she kept shoving up her nose. And her purse looked like something I would have seen on I Love Lucy. It was this giant black clutch that probably held cough drops and prunes. “Thanks, boys.” “Love you, Edna!” Finn called while Leo brushed a kiss across her hand. She finger-waved at Knox and straight-up waddled out of the suite. I stared after her, my jaw dropping with each step she took until she was out of eyesight. “What…” I shook my head. “…I mean, seriously, guys, what?” Finn’s eyes got serious. “She’s lonely.” “She’s at least eighty!” I yelled, so exhausted I was actually arguing with crazy. Knox got all up in my business and said through clenched teeth, “Her husband died a year ago. She’s not comfortable with internet dating yet. We’re easing her in because she wants a partner for life, someone she can laugh with, so if we can give her that one laugh, that nice touch once a week, we’re going to fucking do it. Now jump off that pedestal, take the damn Bose, and go to sleep.”

Bloodlines, an all new Standalone MC Romance by M.N. Forgy is NOW AVAILABLE!

I’m Mac, the Intel guy of the Sin City Outlaws motorcycle club. When it comes to technology, there’s no reading between the lines or emotions to decipher. I prefer two interactions with people. I either fuck them or kill them. There’s no confusion between a woman gasping when I thrust into her, or someone gasping for their last breath of air while I squeeze their neck.
Then Simone Ray walks into my life with sad brown eyes, beautiful lips, and pregnant with a child that could possibly share the same bloodline of a fallen brother's. I'm the last person that should play daddy. I’m a biker and am no role model, but being with a woman who is anything but basic and far from a club chick, stirs a wind of chaos that I can't escape.
I was ordered to protect her... Falling in love with a woman and a child that's not even mine was the last thing I saw happening.

Review:

 5* read.

If you know anything about me as a reader it's that I'm very very picky about MC books. I either love them or hate them depending on the author. It's a really up in the air genre for me, if I find a good one then I'm completly hooked, but if I find a not so good one then it takes me a while to want to read MC novels again. It may sound weird but I've always been this way. This author though writes one of the best MC novels out there. Her writing style is both brilliant and addictive. I really hope she keeps writing this genre for years to come.

Anyways this is book 5 in the Sin City Outlawas series. It can be read as a standalone but to better understand the characters and their stories you need to read from the start. Plus this is just a series that is worth reading from book one as it's that good. You also see these characters in the The Devils Dust series to so it is worth giving that series a read aswell. You end up building up a real connection to all characters that way. This is Mac and Simone's story. You've seen glimpses of them in past books and Ive been waiting for Simone's story for a while now to see how she ended up where she was.

It is a difficult story to read in places as you feel all the emotions the characters feel. You go on such an emotional rollercoaster of a ride that when you get off you still feel like your on the ride. My heart broke for Simone and everything she goes through but I also loved how strong she was even with her vunerable side. Her and Mac together were a great couple. It was more of a slow burn with them but thats what I loved. Simone was in a bad place with everything that had happened but Mac was there for her in his own weird way.

I also loved seeing all the other characters from past books again. Thats what I love most about this series is that you have your main characters, but you also have great supporting characters around them who make the book even better. This was another great addition to this series, I can't wait for the next one.

From #1 NYT bestselling author Lauren Blakely comes a sexy new standalone romance!

I couldn’t have scripted a more perfect night.

For one fantastic evening, at a masquerade party in the heart of Manhattan, I’m not the millionaire everyone wants a piece of. Fine—multimillionaire. But who’s counting all those commas? Not me, and not the most intriguing woman I've ever met, who happens to like dancing, witty banter, and hot, passionate up-against-the-wall sex as much as I do.

There's no need for names or business cards. And that’s why I’m eager to get to know her more, since my mystery woman seems to like me for me, rather than for my huge…bank account.

Everything’s coming up aces. Until the next day when things get a little complicated. (Newsflash — a lot complicated.)

***

He's charming, brilliant, an incredible lover, and right now I want to stab fate in the eyeballs.

I've had one goal I've been working toward, and lo and behold, my mystery man is the very person who stands between me and my dream job. A job I desperately need since my hard-knock life has nothing in common with his star-kissed one.

But it’s time to put that fairytale night behind me, and focus on learning what makes him tick. Too bad it turns out his quirks are my quirks, and his love affair with New York matches mine.

And as we spend our days together, I discover something else that feels like a cruel twist of fate — I’m falling for this naughty prince charming, and that’s not an ending I can write to our story.

EXCERPT:
~FLYNN~
I part my lips to speak, to tell her I’m not a VC. But I flash back to the racquetball game, to the face-lift suggestion from my sister. If this angel thinks I’m a VC, that means my face-lift is working. My costume is doing what I want it to do—it’s making it possible for me to be me. To have a conversation as Flynn Parker the guy, not as Flynn Parker the multimillionaire.
She doesn’t know who I am. And I don’t correct her. “It can be.”
She nods thoughtfully then roams her gaze over my black attire. She taps her bottom lip. “Hmm. Let’s see what we have here tonight because I don’t think you’re a ninja.”
I punch the air. “Keep going.”
She studies me more closely. “You’re something mysterious. You’re trying to fly under the radar. Am I getting warmer?”
More like hot. “Yes.”
Her brow knits. “You want to go unnoticed, at least for the moment.”
I tense, hoping she’s not putting two and two together as to my identity. Absently, I raise my hand to my glasses, wondering if they give me away. But then I remember. I’m wearing my contacts tonight, something I rarely do.
She snaps her fingers. “I know! You’re a stealth start-up,” she says, using the term for a new company that’s keeping quiet.
I raise my arms in victory, a thrill racing through me. “Everyone else has guessed code ninja or SEO ninja, but you’re the first person all night to get it right. I am, indeed, a stealth start-up.”
Admittedly, donning black pants, a black shirt, and a black eye-mask might have made it challenging to guess. But then again, the angel figured it out, and all without the missing start-up button.
“Your lips gave you away.”
She recognized me from my lips? I furrow my brow behind my mask. “What do you mean?”
“Your mouth,” she says, raising her fingers dangerously near to my lips. “I could tell you weren’t a ninja because your lips aren’t covered. Ninjas cover you’re their mouths.” I relax again since she was referring to my clothes. “Only their eyes show. But you’ve covered most of your eyes, and you’re showing only your mouth and your chin. That’s how I knew you had to be something other than a ninja.”
“I could kiss you for that,” I blurt out. I take a step back and hold up a hand. “I’m sorry. That was probably terribly inappropriate.”
A smile slowly spreads across her lips. “No, it wasn’t inappropriate. It wasn’t inappropriate at all,” she says. Something in the way she takes her time with each word tells me she wouldn’t mind being kissed. That gives me one mission and one mission only: keep talking to this angel.

“With an oh-so-delectable hero, a heroine who’s a vivacious force of nature, and a romance that’s both adorkable and scorching hot, Come As You Are had me hooked from page one.” -Yvette, Nose Stuck in a Book

“Come as You Are blends the phenom that is Lauren Blakely with the fantasy of a fairytale wish and a dash of cold hard reality. Passion unfolds with a bit of entertainment, a handful of humor and fistful of heart.” -Isha, I Love Romance

“Blakely has whipped up an irresistible romance as sexy and witty as the nerd protagonists she details in Come as You Are. Their chemistry snaps, crackles, and pops off the pages. " - TJ Loves To Read

REVIEW:
5* read.
This is a standalone spin off from the Give Me series.
First off I will say I love this cover. When you read as many books as me you need that original and eyecatching cover like this to make you want to pcik up the book.
This author's work just gets better and better and this is definatly my favourite book of hers. The original and unique story brought this book to life for me. Its pact full of everything you want in a great romance read including connectable characters who you instanly fall in love with.
The chemistry straight away between Kelly and Ace is electric. They both get under the others skin even though they don't want to. Both are perfect for each other and the banter between them is what made this book for me. I didn't want to put it down and then when I finished I wanted to start it all over again.
I can't wait for the next book.

Excerpt:
My breath catches. This was only supposed to be about wild sex with a hot, irresistible man. I should have known. The moment he walked inside Fix I knew he was a paradox. A puzzle, one I played with, slowly fitting all the broken pieces together until the whole picture now sits before me, a picture so beautiful it steals my breath. “Kelly.” He watches me, his face close to mine. “You were never meant to get involved. It’s not your fight.” He draws back like I’ve slapped him the face. I fumble for his hand, grabbing it before he can withdraw any further. “It’s always been my fight. I don’t have friends. I don’t have boyfriends. I don’t sleep around. I’ve always kept people at arms-length because I don’t live a life where I can answer the kinds of questions they ask of me. Then you came along and I thought maybe this once it would be nice, real fucking nice to pretend I could have something beautiful for myself. Only you weren’t what I expected. You pissed me off. You made me laugh and you made me ache, and you made me want you so damn much. You did all that and now I can’t imagine how I lived a life without you in it. You give so much of yourself without even realising it. Even now you’re taking my fight and making it your own, and I hate myself for being so selfish and letting you.”   Blog tour teaser .jpg

Misadventures With A Rookie by Toni Aleo is the HOT HOCKEY romance you've been waiting for! AVAILABLE NOW!
perf5.250x8.000.indd
Winning has always come naturally for stud ice hockey defenseman Gus “the Bus” Persson. On the ice or off, he’s never had any trouble scoring, racking up goals—and girls. As the best player in his rookie class and the number-one draft pick of the Malibu Suns, he’s taking his game to the next level and is justifiably full of swagger. So why does one of the Suns’ ice girls treat him like he’s invisible? Bo St. James doesn’t have time for rookie hotshots who think their gloves don’t stink. She knows them, she works with them, she trains them. It doesn’t matter that Gus Persson is the hottest newbie she’s ever seen. She knows his type. She’s got big plans of her own, and she’s not going to let some cocky rich kid athlete keep her from her goals. But there’s a chemistry between them they cannot deny. A lust that burns so hot, it threatens to melt the very ice on which they make their livings. The game has changed for both of them. Together, can these two play to win? MISADVENTURES_TEASER3 MISADVENTURES_TEASER2 About the Author:
My name is Toni Aleo and I’m a total dork.
I am a wife, mother of two and a bulldog, and also a hopeless romantic.
I am the biggest Shea Weber fan ever, and can be found during hockey season with my nose pressed against the Bridgestone Arena’s glass, watching my Nashville Predators play!
When my nose isn’t pressed against the glass, I enjoy going to my husband and son’s hockey games, my daughter’s dance competition, hanging with my best friends, taking pictures, scrapbooking, and reading the latest romance novel.
I have a slight Disney and Harry Potter obsession, I love things that sparkle, I love the color pink, I might have been a Disney Princess in a past life… probably Belle.
… and did I mention I love hockey?

End-Zone-Blog-Tour.jpg

The End Zone, a sexy friends to lovers romance from L.J. Shen is available NOW!

LJSTheEndZoneBookCover6x9_MEDIUM.jpg
Jolie Louis is a smart girl.
She knows that her best friend, Sage Poirier, is a bad idea.
He’s a walking, talking cliché. The Adonis quarterback with the bulging biceps and harem of fangirls trailing behind him on campus like a stench you can’t get rid of.
Sadly, it is also the very reason she can’t seem to stay away from him.
No, wait. That’s not fair. They’re also roommates, at least until May, when they graduate from college.
Jolie is already straddling the line between friendship and more when Sage comes to her with an offer she cannot refuse: be his fake girlfriend and live for free for the rest of the semester.
She tells herself that she can handle it.
He’s just the boy she saved ten years ago, right?
Wrong. So very wrong.
He is a man now, and she is his captive
Heart, body, and soul…
** THE END ZONE is now available with an extended epilogue and surprise bonus content that will blow fans of L. J. Shen away! **

Review:
4* read.
I do love this authors work, one of my favourite authors at the minute she never disappoints. This is a quick but steamy read in the writing style I've come to love by this author. A friends to lovers romance with great chemistry between the two main characters.
I will admit this isn't my favourite book by this author, I did feel it to be a bit rushed and not enough depth for me to really fall in love with the characters and their story. That been said I did loke the characters I just didn't completly invest in their story. But this authors writing style wins me over everytime. My favourite part of this book was the added Vicious epilogue at the end.Wow what a great added bonus.
I can't wait for the next book by this author.

Excerpt from the Vicious extended epilogue:
Emilia
“Kneel.” There’s menace in this voice, and I grew to love the man who carries it like a loaded weapon. Every word is a sharp edge of a knife, sinking into my skin. Kneel. Sit. Open your mouth. Touch yourself. Repeat after me: Vicious, I’m yours. Most married couples fall into a blissful, albeit drowsy domestic routine of laundry, family dinners, and Netflix. Most married couples are not Vicious and me. We were different from the beginning. A yin and a yang, fighting over which color took more space, black or pink. We started out as enemies, and I think that, although we are still crazy in love, we will always be rivals on some level. We will always be passionate, and angry, and desperate. We will always be us. “I’m sorry, I don’t take orders from people who aren’t my boss,” I say coolly, dropping my funky, colorful bag at the door and erasing the distance between us in wide, confident steps. He is standing in front of me, his Armani suit impeccable, his raven hair slicked back, his icicle blue eyes devouring me in ways that make being eaten alive worth it. He scans the length of me, a slight sneer on his face. I’m still me, even so many years later. The tips of my light brown hair are still cherry-blossom pink. The soles of my shoes are yellow, for Christ’s sake. “That could be arranged, if you continue your sass.” “How is that going to work, Vicious? Are you going to re-employ me against my will?” For the past eighteen years, I’ve been managing my own gallery in L.A. A gallery he bought for me shortly before our engagement. I have a career, an income of my own. Truth is, he gave me a push, but the entire journey to where I am today was made by me, and only me, and he knows it. He cups my cheek, yanks me by the hem of my funky powder blue blouse with little suns into his body and leans down for a kiss. Our lips brush briefly, promising scattered clothes and ragged breaths, just as the door swings open and our son walks in. He slams the door behind him, his eyes still intently glued to his phone. Vaughn is a spitting image of his dad. So much so, that sometimes it scares me. At sixteen, he has the walk, talk, and air of Vicious when the latter was a senior in high school. Rangy, strong body, thick-fringed blue eyes, skin so fair he looks like he defies the sun, and cheekbones you could use as a sharp weapon. More than anything, he has that uniquely-pissed facial expression that tells you that he just doesn’t care. Not about your problems. Not about your feelings. And certainly not about what you think about him.

Before she’d settled down, L.J. (who thinks referring to herself in the third person is really silly, by the way) traveled the world, and collected friends from all across the globe.
