Review

4.5* read.

Although this can be read as a standalone I really recommend you at least read the first book in this series so as to better understand the characters. Also please note it does end on a cliffhanger.

It's been so long since I've read a book by this author so I was really looking forward to this one as it's seems like forever waiting for Saint and Piper's story. I loved both these characters, both broken and troubled in their own way that you couldn't help but fall in love with both of them. Reading their journey and what they've gone through was heartbreaking, but then seeing them together and the chemistry and sparks they had together was electric. A jam pact book full of all the different types of feels, I love going on a rollercoaster ride with this authors books. Piper was such a great character with her attitude and sass you just couldn't help but want to be like her, and Saint was the bad boy with that side of sweet that you want to tame and take home. It was also great seeing all the other characters from past books to.

The only negative that I will say about this book is that it ends on a cliffhanger (and the only reason it lost half a star marking was because of this). The reason that it's a negative for me is the fact I had no clue when I started reading it so when I got to the end and there was this massive cliffhanger I was actually really annoyed. It's been a long wait for this book so for it to end it like that and not know beforehand was a massive no for me. Cliffhanger's most of the time I wait till all the book are out to read it, but sometimes I will read a cliffhanger ending book before the next has been released, the difference is that I know it's a cliffhanger so am prepared for the ending. So as a warning to everyone is it is a cliffhanger and it is a massive cliffhanger at that. Hopefully it won't be to long of a wait till the next one and maybe everyone else won't be bothered about not knowing but for me please let your readers know beforehand what we're getting into. That been said it was still a brilliantly wrote book by a very talented author and I'm looking forward to seeing where there story goes next.
