Victory Soaps

Recently I got 3 samples of different soaps to try from http://www.victorysoaps.co.uk/

These are all hand made soaps and they do a lot of samples in loads of different kinds so you can try them first. Victory Soaps produces a varied range of soaps from natural (unperfumed and uncoloured) through pinks, blues, greens and yellows, using only natural colours and perfumed only with essential oils.  There is no palm oil used, no tallow (meat fat), no synthetic fragrance oils, no sls, no parabens.  Victory Soap is 100% vegetable soap, no detergents added, and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Victory Soaps are hand made in small quantities, using the traditional cold process method.  Unlike commercial soap manufacturing processes where the skin nourishing glycerin is removed and sold (for use in the processed food or explosives industries) all beneficial products remain in our soap.
The fresh soap is hand cut into bars weighing about 110gm.  Each bar is then individually finished for a really good ‘hand feel’, stamped with the distinctive Victory Soaps logo and cured for several weeks before being ready for sale. Below i have reviewed the 3 different samples i got.

Pink lavender

I couldn’t wait to use this one, I love lavender and pinks my favourite colour. The smell and texture of it was perfect. I have got really sensitive hands so I've gotta be careful with what I use but these are exactly right for me, they didn’t dry my hands out at all and they left them nice and clean, as well as smelling lovely. You can tell just by looking at the soaps how much effort went into them and i always love anything homemade as it shows they really care about there products.

Lily Rose

This one smells absolutely gorgeous too, its not too strong either, there's just the right amount. The texture like the other too is great, its nice and smooth not to grainy like some other soaps. In the past what put me off buying handmade soaps was the texture of most of them were too grainy or rough, but these are lovely. I love the symbol on it too, really makes them unique.

Lavendula

I love the colour of this one it’s so unusual, I’ve never seen anything like it before and like the other 2 soaps it smells gorgeous. All these soaps are unique in their own way and I would definitely buy them again. They also all look lovely in the bathroom.

Victory Soaps are available in 24 varieties, including Lavender in six variations, rose geranium and five other pink soaps, scrubs, clay soaps, herbals, botanicals and the 3-in-1 Man Bar, a shaving, showering and shampoo bar in one. I would recommend these to anyone and they would make lovely gifts too and I will defiantly be buying some in the future. Have a look on the website http://www.victorysoaps.co.uk/ , you wont be disappointed

16sixty.com's service

As a reviewer for 16sixty.com i have to say my dreams been made. I love fashion and i love clothes and this is the best online store for this, and the quality of there products is the best, and at affordable prices. I cant wait to see what stuff i get to review next, its like Christmas. I wore 16sixty.com's leopard print dress to a friends birthday the other week and i got loads of people asking me where i got it from and how lovely it was. They couldn't believe it when i told them about 16sixty.com and the price of their products. A couple of my friends have already placed orders and so will a lot of others. What i also love about using them is there customer service. Some companies don't care about there customers they just want a sale, not 16sixty.com there always there to help. I would highly recommend buying from them and they do a lot of giveaways on there website which is even better. Go check out there website, you'll be spoilt for choice and wont be disappointed.

Spice Tailor Original Tikka Masala

As I mentioned in my last review of The Spice Tailor I do love my curry’s and I thought, seen as though it’s a weekend, that instead of buying a takeaway I’d make my own curry again. This time it’s the turn of Tikka Masala and I have to admit tikka masala is one of my favourite curries so I was really looking forward to trying it. As I explained in my last review all of the spice tailor sauces come with instructions on the pack which explains what you have to do step by step, so even none cooks could use these and not have any problems. I always start off by cooking my chicken in the oven and then I fry it off in a frying pan with the sauces. As soon as I added the sauces the smells that filled the house was amazing and I have to say it tasted just as good. The texture was just right again and I have to say I’ve been waiting years to find a curry sauce as good as the spice tailors and I’m so looking forward to making more curry’s with all these other different ranges too. They have a great collection of different curry sauces, so there’s something for everyone. I definitely won’t be using any other curries anymore and would highly recommend them to everyone; in fact one of my friends has already put an order in. What are you waiting for go take look and order what will be the best curry sauce you’ve ever had. You can find the spice tailor on:
