Recently I got 3 samples of different soaps to try from http://www.victorysoaps.co.uk/
These are all hand made soaps and they do a lot of samples in loads of different kinds so you can try them first. Victory Soaps produces a varied range of soaps from natural (unperfumed and uncoloured) through pinks, blues, greens and yellows, using only natural colours and perfumed only with essential oils. There is no palm oil used, no tallow (meat fat), no synthetic fragrance oils, no sls, no parabens. Victory Soap is 100% vegetable soap, no detergents added, and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Victory Soaps are hand made in small quantities, using the traditional cold process method. Unlike commercial soap manufacturing processes where the skin nourishing glycerin is removed and sold (for use in the processed food or explosives industries) all beneficial products remain in our soap.
The fresh soap is hand cut into bars weighing about 110gm. Each bar is then individually finished for a really good ‘hand feel’, stamped with the distinctive Victory Soaps logo and cured for several weeks before being ready for sale. Below i have reviewed the 3 different samples i got.
I couldn’t wait to use this one, I love lavender and pinks my favourite colour. The smell and texture of it was perfect. I have got really sensitive hands so I've gotta be careful with what I use but these are exactly right for me, they didn’t dry my hands out at all and they left them nice and clean, as well as smelling lovely. You can tell just by looking at the soaps how much effort went into them and i always love anything homemade as it shows they really care about there products.
This one smells absolutely gorgeous too, its not too strong either, there's just the right amount. The texture like the other too is great, its nice and smooth not to grainy like some other soaps. In the past what put me off buying handmade soaps was the texture of most of them were too grainy or rough, but these are lovely. I love the symbol on it too, really makes them unique.
I love the colour of this one it’s so unusual, I’ve never seen anything like it before and like the other 2 soaps it smells gorgeous. All these soaps are unique in their own way and I would definitely buy them again. They also all look lovely in the bathroom.
