First ill start by saying I LOVE this series and I LOVE this author so I was really lucky to get a arc for this one. I would actually give this more then the 5 stars if I could. I actually wasn't sure if id like Myles as much as the other brothers as he's always come across as more quiet and too good for my bad boy side that I love. I was so wrong and after this book he may actually be my favourite. The way this a author wrote such a  beautiful story of Myles and Kayla around such a hard topic blew me mind. It was heartbreaking in places yet so sweet and I've been rooting for these two since they first met in earlier books. the way Myles was with Kayla because of everything she'd been through was so sweet and beautiful I was ugly crying a good few times throughout.
There was a few spelling mistakes but i haven't marked down for this as I know how much of a game this author had on with having to change editors and getting it released on time, and the mistakes don't spoil this story at all so it didn't bother me.
As for the next book I can't wait, especially when its Max's turn, boy I can not wait to read this dirty talking bad boys story. Well done Lisa on another amazing book, cant wait for the next.

I have read past books from this author and loved them so I was looking forward to this one. This was a bit different to her normal books with its more serious tone and its real emotional story that took you on a journey and kept you gripped throughout. Evan and Kinley were so sweet and the relationship they had and how it developed certainly pulled on my heartstrings. Evan is her brothers best friend and when Evans life is upturned Kinley is there for him and their relationship grows from the just friendship. I loved them together and I loved how Evan was and how he dealt with everything that happened.

Great read I look forward to future books from this author.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia. I am in my thirties and happily married with three gorgeous boys.

My first love has always been reading, so the writing side is very natural to me. Favourite books include anything by Abbi Glines, but Fallen too Far is a favourite, Pulse & Collide by Gail McHugh and The Driven trilogy by K Bromberg.

Hobbies of mine are playing netball; shopping and I love listening to music. I add it into my writing frequently.

The title of this book couldn't fit it anymore then it does as I was completely torn reading this.

This is Eli and Kalista's story and boy what a story it was. My emotions were up and down and I was n the edge of my seat throughout. I also loved the supporting characters to and how they fitted into Eli and Kalista's relationship.

This was a brilliant heart wrenching book that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. Looking forward to this authors next book.

My heart beat faster the second the barrier between us was no more. I kept my head down, glancing at his shiny, black dress shoes, hoping and praying he would simply walk away without saying a word. But I knew the thought was ridiculous, betting Eli had waited years to finally confront me for what I’d done to him. I had never wished for my mother more than I did right then. I would have sent her to the door as a diversionary tactic, but then that wouldn’t have worked because she’d been telling me for years I needed to tell Eli the truth. All of it. No way in hell would she have allowed me to turn him away when he was standing on our doorstep.  

The air between us had become stagnant, my eyes still focusing on the ground below. I needed a few more precious seconds before I faced my past.

And my future.

“Look at me,” he growled.

I guess my time’s up.

Recognizing I deserved every bit of his rage, I slowly lifted my eyes until they met his. Instead of panic and fear, though, I was bombarded with a rush of memories of the two of us together all those years ago.

The man standing before me was not the same guy I’d chosen to leave behind back then. Eli was obviously older, the years definitely agreeing with him. If it was even possible, he was more breathtaking than he was in his youth. Sexy scruff hid his strong jaw, all the while highlighting his full and tempting lips. It certainly wasn’t the time to become enthralled with his looks but I found I couldn’t help myself, my body reacting to him as it always did. He was broader than I remembered—hell, he even looked taller. From the expensive suit he wore and the way his hair was styled in that perfect coif, mixed with a hint of messiness, it was apparent he had done very well for himself financially. Never mind the hunk of steel he drove here in which probably cost more than my mother’s house.

My lustful thoughts kept me frozen in the entryway, his eyes mirroring my own as they raked over me from head to toe. Silence continued to stretch between us as I tried to decide how to handle our upcoming conversation. He was clearly pissed at me, hated me even. And I didn’t blame him. Not at all.
