I do love this authors writing style, its very unique and very addictive. 
This is Poppy and Coopers story who by chance meet again after 10 years and feel a strong connection. Poppy I just loved and really realted to her to. I felt every emotion she did and went on her emotional journey to. The chemistry between these two was smoking hot and I loved seeing the banter between them. I just got completly sucked into their story and enjoyed every minute.
I cant wait for the next book in this series.

3* read.
This is a very very very short read and while it had my attention it also lacked alot in emotion and any connection to the charcters. I can really see potential here but it needs more depth to both the characters and story. It was so rushed and I felt like there was parts missing. The reason I gave it 3* rating was that the sex scenes were hot and if it wasn't for them I probably would have rated this even lower. I think with more charcter development, a longer story and more depth this could work into a really good book as the main structure is there ready.

I loved the idea of this book but unfortuntly I struggled with the characters and felt no connection. Dylan although he comes across as a sweet loner I found him to be lacking and actually quite boring. Maybe I'm just use to big strong alpha males but Dylan just didn't do it for me. Savannah just really made me angry and I wanted to jump through my kindle and yell at her to open her eyes. Although yes there was a bit drama in the story it just seemed to be brushed over really quickly, there wasn't enough emotion/drama or anything to really grab me and capture me.
This won't stop me reading other books by this author it just wasn't the right book for me although there is a lot of promise there.

She stretched up on tiptoes and placed a kiss on the corner of his mouth. He turned, a look of surprise on his face. "What was that for?"

She shrugged. "For being you."

He pulled her closer, her hips snug against him. "I think I deserve a little more than a quick peck on the cheek."

She arched a brow, loving this playful side of the normally quiet, staid, and serious man. "Really? That wasn't on your cheek but on the lips. Sort of."

He snorted. "Not a real kiss. Not like this."

He slid a hand down her back to cup her butt through her jean shorts and pull her against him. He lowered his head, pausing centimeters from her lips, pausing for one moment as if waiting for permission, or for her to pull back. When she didn't, he pressed his lips to hers, passion infusing his kiss, heat rising quickly between them. She moaned and twined her hands behind his neck, entangling them in his hair, pulling his head down for a deeper embrace. His tongue teased at the seam of her lips and she opened them, eagerly tangling with his, tasting coffee, cinnamon, and a hint of something else, something she wanted more of, was starving for. And that scared her more than losing a dog.

Lust overshadowed the fear and she angled her head to deepen the connection, for once, letting feelings overtake sense. She tangled her fingers in his hair, feeling the silky strands rub against her skin. His tongue stroked hers, and his hands slipped under her shirt to caress the bare skin between her shorts and t-shirt. She moaned and arched into his hand.

This was a difficult book to rate for me. For me there was promise in the book but I found a lack of connection to the characters and although I didnt hate the story I didn't love it either and I found it really hard to like the main character Ava. I feel really bad about not loving it as I know this is a story really close to this authors heart but I have to be honest and it just wasn't for me.

A really emotional read this had me gripped from the start.
This is a book that you dont want to have to much prior knowledge of first so I will be keeping my review short and sweet.
What Killian went through was such an emotional read that I found myself having to take a step back sometimes. This was a unique story although some parts I did have trouble with believing in I still enjoy the book as a whole.
I look forward to more from this author.

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.

She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.

She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females.

The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.
