REVIEW

ARC kindly provided by author in exchange for a honest review.
3.5* read.
This is the first book is this series and the first book I've read by this author.
Charlotte (Charlie) is on the run from her abusive bf and ends up in California on the back patio of a beach house that's empty but next door to Colton (Colt). Colton is a manwhore at the start of the book and from a well off family unlike Charlie who has nothing. When he meets Charlie he wants to help her and eventually after some persuading from him a friendship forms.
It was only a 3.5 * read for me because although it was sweet and enjoyable read, at times I wanted to pull my hair out at Colton and I found it really hard to connect with him at one point in this book I felt he didn't even deserve Charlie which is why it was that rating for me. Without giving to much of the plot away I did enjoy the overall story and writing style but it just needed that little bit more work for me especially when they hit that rough patch, and I needed to feel more of a connection to Colton but that's just my own personal feelings. Its hard to say exactly what I didn't like without giving a major plot part away but like i say it was a ok read for me.

I will be reading the next books in this series and am looking forward to see what happens with their stories.

REVIEW

3 star read.
From the very first chapters you go through so many emotions and this continues throughout. A love story that has emotional twists and turns throughout.

Jayceon was one of the popular guys until he tried to help someone and it blew up in his face and now he's bullied by most of his fellow team-mates. Seona has enough  of her father and she takes off to Texas to live with her step brother ad his father. She gets there and starts her senior year but is torn between a star footballer who everyone's against or the popular crowd. Question is who does she choose?

For my own personal taste it was too  YA for me which is why its only 3 stars for me, but I still really enjoyed it, as will others.

There is nothing I can do to control the roll of my eyes. “Does that mean I don’t have to take you to the college today?”
“Oh no. My brother told me to talk to you about a ride. You may not like it, but you’re taking me anyway.”
There’s no time to respond, when she storms to the front of the room to take her seat with her friends.
Throughout class, my leg bounces and I clench my fists in complete irritation. Who the hell does this girl think she is? She’s got balls of steel, that’s for sure. Watching the clock, I don’t hear a word the teacher says as I wait for my opportunity. It moves slower than I thought possible, but finally the bell rings. I gather my stuff as quickly as I can and walk to the front of the room, where she is still packing up her stuff.
Stopping next to her desk, I return the favor and place my hand on top of her book so she can’t put it away. “Find your own ride.”

But Brody was never supposed to feel attracted to the daughter of his enemy. He was never supposed to want her as hard as he does. And the only thing stronger than his hunger for revenge is his hunger for her…

REVIEW

4 star read.

This as you can guess from the title is a story about revenge. Years after Brody lost his parents when they were killed by a shipping truck owned by Douglass Shipping he's set on getting his revenge on the CEO Jonathan by involving himself in a takeover, what he isn't set on is Jonathon's daughter Kate.
Kate Douglass has wanted for years to prove to her father and his colleagues that she can handle more and now that Brody is in charge she makes a play to get a better part in the company and ends up as  VP of Operations and working in close proximity to the sexy Brody. What's the saying about keeping your friend close but your enemies closer, Brody certainly does that here. the tension and chemistry  between these two was felt as a reader throughout and I loved the interaction between the too of them. As for the sex it was certainly steamy and hot. Question is can they not cross that falling in love line and will their feelings win out in the end. Another great book cant wait to read for more from this author.

Turning The Tables is the second book in the Italian Connection series but the first one I've read. Its a sexy steamy and fun romance story that will have you laughing just as much as swooning. From the very first page author Joan grabs your attention and holds it throughout.
Italian billionaire businesswoman, Tina visits New York to open a new fashion boutique. This is when she meets the sexy Luke. Luke owns the bar next door but Tina mistakes him for a handyman and Luke mistakes Tina for a sales assistant. Although Luke comes clean that he's not a handyman Tina keeps her secret as shes been hurt in the past and just wants to be liked for just herself and not her money. Right away Luke senses she's hiding something but he's so smitten with her he just overlooks it. Question is will Luke find out who Tina really is and if he does will he stick around?
Great fun read with those sexy sex scenes throw in too. Cant wait to read more book by Joan.

We can be friends, but don't ask about my past or where I go.

He draws the lines.
She erases his lines.

Can Zara help Treston escape his painful past before he sinks deeper into oblivion?

EXCERPT
I once knew what love was. It was the best feeling, knowing someone cared about you and you cared about them. Then again, love can be taken away from you like that. In the blink of an eye, your whole life changes. Some people can survive, but not me. You don’t survive the heartbreak I’ve been through. You can’t. The way she made me feel, the way she kissed me and lit my body aflame, no other woman could do that. Nothing would ever be okay and since the day I lost her, I’ve been on auto pilot. I go through the motions of school, the game I love, home, parties and errands, but nothing feels real anymore.

Though talking to and hanging out with Zara is okay for me. She’s not someone I want to avoid.
REVIEW
I received a copy of this book from the author  in exchange for an honest review.
4* read.

S moose is a new author to me and after this book I will be purchasing her other books too. It wasn't quite a 5* for me as there was to much up and down for that but it was still a great read and well worth 4*s.
When Treston and Zara first meet there's this instant connection that you as a reader feel too. Zara's just broke up with her boyfriend so tries to deny her feelings for Treston at first. Treston's your typical man whore who uses girls for sex and that's all. When he meets Zara he wants her but his stubbornness and secrets cause a lot of conflict (bit to much for my personal liking) Question is will Zara still be there when Treston realises and will Treston divulge his secrets.
I loved this was a great read apart from the constant conflict was a bit hard to keep reading at times but apart from that it was a perfect read.

Because his assistance might get Honor what she wants, but suddenly being the do-good guy puts his plans--and heart--in serious jeopardy.

REVIEW
I received a ARC in exchange for an honest review from Entangled (via Netgalley).
4 star read.
Blame it on the Kiss is a bittersweet beautiful emotional romance story about Honor and Bryce, two people linked together by Payton, someone they both loved and lost. Not realizing who the other one is a chance meeting brings them together. Honor is trying to complete her friends bucket list that she left behind and Bryce tries to help her as he was Payton's boyfriend before she died. When things start getting complicated between them they avoid each other but fate doesn't agree with that and they're throw back together though a friends wedding. Neither are looking for a relationship, but the chemistry is sizzling between them. There's a lot of complications throughout and obstacles they have to over come but this was a sweet emotional romance by a new author to me, will defiantly be reading more of Robins books.

Big Bad Wolfe by Elle Doolittle

BLURB
Sarah Maxwell had spent years trying to forget the one man who broke her heart. She'd buried herself in her family's business never expecting to lay eyes on him again...until Falon Wolfe walked into the conference room, bringing a plan to turn the agency around along with all those unrequited feelings.
Falon was the one thing in her life she could never forget. And she’d tried. For nine years she tried forgetting the scent of his skin and the way his body felt against hers. She had never planned on seeing him again after that one night of pure bliss. A night he obviously didn’t remember. He’s cold, detached and she has the sudden urge to reignite the fires of the past.
He can't get her out of his head...
Falon Wolfe was a man hardened by a life on the wrong side of town and the personal drive that made him the success he was. A self-made financial success story, Falon traveled around the world turning failing companies around—by any means necessary.
At the request of his estranged grandfather Falon finds himself at Maxwell, Williams and Blake, a failing talent agency in the heart of the city he vowed never to return to. When he agreed he thought that it would be a simple job. He had never been more wrong. The first time he laid eyes on the feisty Sarah Maxwell she stirred something in him he hadn’t felt in a very long time, and he wanted nothing to do with it. What he did want was Sarah, as many ways as possible, while he was in Chicago. When the job was done so was she, that’s the way it worked, always had always will. But when Falon starts dreaming of the luscious redhead he wonders why his subconscious is connecting her with his past and why he can’t shake the feeling that she is so familiar.
When feelings change from cold agendas to blazing passion Sarah and Falon must come clean about their motives or risk losing everything. Sarah must move past her insecurities and Falon's frigid walls if she truly wants to tame the Big bad wolfe.

REVIEW
I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
3 star read.
Sarah works at her grandfather’s failing business and is surprised when Falon Wolfe shows up to revamp the business. Sarah knows him from when she had a massive crush on him in college and that one fateful night too. Its not long before they are drawn back together.
This is a really short review for me as I couldn't get into this book at all. I'm not sure what I can say about this book it just wasn't really for me and the way it ended was really abrupt, I'm not sure if there's another part due out. I was really looking forward to it from the blurb but it just wasn't for me at all. I skimmed allot of the book as I felt like it was just dragging on and getting nowhere. I'm sure there's readers out there who its suited for and will enjoy it more then me but it defiantly wasn't for me.

AUTHOR BIO

I always knew I wanted to do something creative. After going through the standard childhood career changes of ballerina, doctor, and a rather embarrassing period of boy band charged rockstar dreams I found writing (which was equally embarrassing). Never really believing I could actually make something of my stories, I left for college, got married to my best friend and had a couple of kids before taking up the proverbial pen again.

After several false starts, I finally finished a full manuscript, then another and another. I loved each one like my own children and wanted to keep them safe from the world, but I knew my stories would never reach anyone hidden away on my computer hard drive so I began cautiously sending them out and one landed a home with Entranced Publishing.

I live in Ohio with my husband and two young boys. No pets, despite the kids' constant begging and various versions of 'big ol' puppy dog eyes'.
