REVIEW
I received a
copy from author in exchange for a honest review.
3 star read.
3 star read.
From the very
first chapters you go through so many emotions and this continues throughout. A
love story that has emotional twists and turns throughout.
Jayceon was one of the popular guys until he
tried to help someone and it blew up in his face and now he's bullied by most
of his fellow team-mates. Seona has enough
of her father and she takes off to Texas to live with her step
brother ad his father. She gets there and starts her senior year but is torn
between a star footballer who everyone's against or the popular crowd. Question
is who does she choose?
For my own
personal taste it was too YA for me which is why
its only 3 stars for me, but I still really enjoyed it, as will others.

EXCERPT
There is nothing I can do to control the roll
of my eyes. “Does that mean I don’t have to take you to the college today?”
“Oh no. My brother told me to talk to you about
a ride. You may not like it, but you’re taking me anyway.”
There’s no time to respond, when she storms to
the front of the room to take her seat with her friends.
Throughout class, my leg bounces and I clench
my fists in complete irritation. Who the hell does this girl think she is?
She’s got balls of steel, that’s for sure. Watching the clock, I don’t hear a
word the teacher says as I wait for my opportunity. It moves slower than I
thought possible, but finally the bell rings. I gather my stuff as quickly as I
can and walk to the front of the room, where she is still packing up her stuff.
Stopping next to her desk, I return the favor
and place my hand on top of her book so she can’t put it away. “Find your own
ride.”
