Max is your typical single lad until he gets news he never expects and then ends up a single dad. Max at the start of this book I hated to the point I wanted to chuck my kindle out the window. Luckily though Max changed and so did my opinion of him and I realized he had to go on that journey from the start to get to the person he is now. Emelia is Max's new neighbor and I loved the bond she formed with Max and their relationship and journey they take together. Great read.
