𝗔 𝗛𝗢𝗧 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠.𝗡 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝘆! 🔥

As the son of the infamous boss of the DeAngelo family, I have merciless duties expected of me. The public labels me a monster, a man without a soul, and one hated by many.

They’re not wrong, and I’m not sorry for it.
When my father orders me to marry a longtime enemy’s daughter to settle a score between our families, she did what any smart woman with a beating heart would do.
She ran.
So, I found her.
She tries to negotiate for her freedom, but despite being inexplicably drawn to the deviant woman, I refuse her pitiful bribes with pleasure.
I still have a job to do, and I’ll make her tell me her family’s secrets, turning a treacherous situation into a game of hatred.
A code of silence will be broken.
Lines will be crossed.
I’ll promise her freedom to get the answers I need, but I’ll burn this city to the ground before I let her go.

About TEST DRIVE

Willow Andrew’s life is a hot mess.
Coming from a family of successful professionals, the fact that at twenty-seven she still doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up doesn’t sit well. Desperate not to disappoint her grandmother, she invents a fake boyfriend so Gammy won’t worry so much. It seemed a victimless lie... until Gammy announced that Willow AND her boyfriend needed to be present at her 75th birthday party. Or else. Out of time and options, Willow turns to the sexy bartender she’s been secretly crushing on for help.
Levi Sullivan has his life in order and thrives off helping others.
In fact, he would do anything to help out a friend. But he’s angling for far more than friendship with Willow. Entranced by the clumsy beauty since the first time he watched her trip over nothing, he happily agrees to a chance to spend more time with her. Fake romance or not, he’s determined to use their long-distance road trip to turn a game of pretend into something more.
Warning—the roads ahead will twist and turn with laugh-out loud moments and sizzling chemistry. But traffic should be aware, the journey ahead is far more important than the destination.

Review:
 4.5* read.
This is book 3 in the RoadTripping series, althoiugh it is a complete standalone featuring new characters unrelated to the characters in the first two books in the series. It does however continue the same theme of the other two books in that the main characters fall in love while taking a road trip together. This been said I have to admit I haven't read the others in this series but will be going back to read them now as I loved this one and the fun element of falling in love on a road trip.

Carried Away, a brand new standalone contemporary romance by P. Dangelico, is coming June 16, 2020!

Carrie Anderson––truth seeker, storyteller, journalist-at-large––is bad at social media and great at getting herself into trouble.

When she’s fired from her dream job for an ill-advised tweet, she has no other choice but to return to the town where she grew up with her head hung low.

It’s temporary after all. She can work at her family’s bed and breakfast, fix her finances, and get back to her life and home in Los Angeles.

There’s only one not-so-little problem…the grouchy ex-NHL star making her rethink what home means.

Jake Turner––great at hockey, bad at people––is not a happy man.

Haunted by his past, all he wants is to disappear into obscurity, to get away from the scrutiny of the press he’s been under since going pro at nineteen. But when the press finds him, disappearing is no longer an option.

Worse yet, the same journalist he’s trying to avoid is making him reconsider whether being forgotten is what he really wants.

Review
4* read.
A feel good refreshing, heartwarming romance jam pact with sweet moments and lots of banter between Carrie and Jake. When these to first meet you got that instant tension mixed with sexual chemistry which I love. The chemistry between the two of them is what made the book for me as there was a few plot holes for me, just some small things that I wasn't quite sure on, but I chose to focus more on the relationship side then that. Overall it's a great book with likeable characters that make you invest in their story.
Quite a quick light read this will certainly keep you entrapped till the end.

Excerpt:

Without a backward glance, I walk inside, unsure if he’ll follow, but a minute later he shuts the door behind him. His head hung low, his hands shoved in the pockets of his jeans, every 6’ 3” inch of him looking as remorseful as he should.

“I didn’t mean to embarrass you,” he mutters to the carpet. “I’m sorry.” His gaze lifts to meet mine and the heat I find there is unmistakable. “I wanted you to myself tonight and I didn’t handle it well.”

Somebody beat on my chest. I think I just flatlined. Remorseful Jake is my favorite Jake so far, so sexy I want to peel that black t-shirt off his body with my teeth. Or maybe I’ll let him take mine off first.

About P. Dangelico:

P. Dangelico loves romance in all forms, cuddly creatures (four legged and two), really bloody sexy pulp, the NY Jets (although she’s reconsidering after this season), and to while away the day at the barn (apparently she does her best thinking shoveling horse crap). What she’s not enamored with is referring to herself in the third person and social media so don’t expect her to get on Twitter anytime soon. Oh, and although she was born in Italy, she’s been Jersey Strong since she turned six.

Six years ago, Kitty Valentine took the book world by storm when her sweet debut romance hit number one on the New York Times Best Sellers list, which was followed by a string of successful releases.

Her latest novel, however, totally bombs, causing her editor to suggest she write much sexier books.

To Kitty, writing smut is the literary equivalent of stripping.

“Hard Pass.”
That’s what the last girl I slept with said when she got her first sober glimpse of me. She laughed, walked out of my penthouse—and I never saw her again. It doesn’t matter that I’m a rich, professional athlete; what mattered was my face.

Beauty might only be skin deep for some—but I know better.

“Pay Up.”

I’m a professional athlete--how hard can playing the love game be?

Review:
 4* read.
This is book 1 in a brand new series of standalones. A fun quick read it will definatly lighting anyones mood in these strange times. It's not your typical sports romance either so was great to read something in that genre that was different.
I actually don't think I've ever read a self conscious male lead character before so that was new for me. At first I was a bit unsure, but pretty quickly you can't help but love Noah. Miranda was great and I loved the banter between the two of them aswell as the chemistry. They were a perfect match and Miranda's sassy side was definatly fun to read.
The supporting characters were great too, especially Buzz as the best friend. I'm really hopeing it's his book we get next.
Fab start to this series, it was a bit more like a novella length read for me but still enjoyable and I can't wait for more from this author.

He walked into school on his first day and owned it.
I guess that’s what happens when you’re a prick, rich, and you’re best friends with the ruling school’s king.
Also didn’t hurt he’s drop dead gorgeous.
That’s all fine.
I mean, I have nothing to do with them.
I’m a loner, invisible, and that’s how I wanted it to be.
I was even proud of it, until I wasn’t.
Until I saw a girl kneel before him.
Until I couldn’t look away.
Until he caught me watching.
His name is Blaise Devroe. My name is Aspen Monson.
He only knew how to get, command, and demand attention.
I knew how to do everything but that.

Excerpt:

I’d done my research. Zeke Allen’s cabin was set a good ten miles away from the nearest neighbors. I should’ve been in the clear to sneak onto their land, do a little freestyle camping, and listen to the party sounds like the loser I was. But noooo. I was about to get company.  As I snuck out of my tent, and realized who it was, I almost crapped my pants.  It was Blaise DeVroe, holding hands with Mara Daniels.  As popular girls went, Mara Daniels was one of the nicer ones. She was on the dance team. Dark hair. Shorter, but athletic. The problem with Mara was that she was friends with the other popular girls. Some of them were nasty—hence the reason I wasn’t friends with them. Not that they’d tried to get to know me. Not that I even registered on their radar. But then again, that’s what I did.  I didn’t engage. I didn’t attend. I was on the edge. I was the invisible girl, and here I was, being the invisible girl once more, but man…  When I saw it was him, and then saw how his hand went from holding hers and guiding her to a tree to slipping around and grabbing her ass, something came over me. I couldn’t retreat back to my tent. I couldn’t even stay hidden behind a tree and just listen.  I know, I know. This was all sorts of wrong, but Blaise was Blaise.  He’d become the guy in my dreams, my weird schoolgirl fantasies. He was my high school crush. Everyone had one. If you didn’t, you’re even weirder than me, and that’s saying something. So when I started salivating over Blaise DeVroe, I kinda just let myself go. I mean, nothing was ever going to happen. Guys like him didn’t date girls like me. They didn’t even notice girls like me.  I wasn’t crazy. That’d make me all sorts of delusional.  I was a realist. I knew my place in life’s hierarchy. I was at the bottom. I was not the very bottom—because of my family—but socially, I was barely one rung up the ladder.  Anyway, when Blaise started kissing Mara, when Mara knelt in front of him, when she opened his pants—I lost all train of thought.  And, oh my God.  My whole body was awash with sensations, and I was captivated. Captivated! Entranced. Mesmerized.  I could not look away.  Then I felt throbbing and a warm feeling between my legs, and it was game over. It was all I could do not to make a sound, because I wanted to. So bad. I wanted to moan. I wanted to touch myself, but I didn’t. I kept myself reined in, but watch? Oh yeah. I watched.  I couldn’t not watch.  I watched the whole thing.  I loved the whole thing.  And then at the end of it, I almost died.

Review
5* read.
I can't believe this is the last book in this series, I'm gutted. Although this can be read as a complete standalone if you haven't read the others in this series you need to, just because they're all so good.
From the very first couple of chapters I was hooked to this book. The way Conor and Taylor first meet is both hot and funny. The banter straight away and chemistry made me know this was going to be an addictive read. I loved Taylor and I think it was probably because I could relate to her more. She's a curvy girl with her insecurities and that definatly got to me on a deeper level. You don't always have these type of relatable characters with all the curves and the flaws to go with it so it was just great to read about someone who could basically be me. And the way Conor reacted to her was how every girl wants to be treated when they have those sorted of insecurities. Yes they both have their ups and downs through this book but I loved going on their journey with them and seeing them work through their problems. It was also great having little glimpses of characters from the other books in this series too.
A great final book, I'm looking forward to this authors next work.

Excerpt

“Thank you,” she breathes the moment we’re alone.
“No problem. Mind if I make myself comfortable?”
“Um, yeah. I mean, no. I don’t mind. Sit if you want. Or—wow, okay, you’re lying down.”
I grin at her visible nervousness. It’s cute. While I stretch out my six-foot-two frame amid the stuffed animals and decorative pillows on the bed, she remains the startled rabbit plastered against the door and breathing heavily.
“Gotta be honest,” I tell her, entwining my hands behind my head, “I’ve never seen a girl so unhappy to be locked in a bedroom with me.”
This has the desired effect of loosening her shoulders and even eliciting a shy smile. “I have no doubt.”
“I’m Conor, by the way.”
She rolls her eyes. “Yeah, I know.”
“What’s the eyeroll for?” I ask, playing wounded.
“No, sorry, I didn’t mean anything by it. Just, I know who you are. You’re, like, campus famous.”
The more I watch her, hands braced at her sides against the door, one knee bent, dirty-blonde hair a little messy and draped over one shoulder, I can’t help picturing myself holding her arms above her head while I explore her body with my mouth. She’s got very kissable skin.
“Taylor Marsh,” she blurts out, and I realize I don’t know how long we were silent until then.
I scoot to the far side of the bed and put a pillow beside me as a divider. “Come on. If we’re going to be in here awhile, let’s at least make friends.”
Taylor laughs out a breath and with it she releases a bit more tension. She’s got a nice smile. Bright, warm. It takes a bit more coaxing, however, to get her on the bed.
“This isn’t like a move,” she tells me, lining up stuffed animal guards to patrol the pillow wall between us. “I’m not some sort of weirdo who tricks men into getting in bed with her and then mauls them.”
“Sure.” I nod with mock seriousness. “But a little mauling would be okay.”
