4.5* review.
This is a debut novel by a new up and coming author and the
first book in the Heartbreaker series. Baring that mind it does end on a cliff-hanger
that will leave you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next book to find
out where else this series goes. This is told in dual POV which I love as I
like been able to see into both characters mind and feelings.
One tragic night changes
everything in an instant for both Aidan and Essie and their lives will never be
the same again after it. Essie decides to get revenge and after years the
end goal is in sight, only the rules change and she's left with a big decision
on whether to go ahead with her revenge and if its really worth it. Aidan I
fell in love with straight away and it broke my heart what he went through with
his family. He was such a likeable character as was Essie so it made it easier
as i reader to connect straight away with the main characters and made the book
that much more enjoyable and gripping.
I loved this book and loved
this author, such an emotional powerful refreshing read with strong lovable characters.
Only problem I had was that I'd have preferred it to be one book instead of the cliff-hanger
ending and having to wait for the next part, but that's just my own personal
preference. I can't wait for the next part and to see what else this amazing
author writes.
